I got my start with yoga during the COVID-19 lock-down. Like most people forced inside and left with limited options for physical wellness, I turned to virtual yoga and my personal practice to get through the trying times.

In 2020, the same year as the lock-downs, my grief was compounded by a diangnosis my mother received for early-onset Alzheimer’s. I needed solutions fast to get through the tough times - and yoga was my answer.

Yoga has changed my entire outlook on life - I am worth the effort to live a healthy and fulfilling life!

Yoga work history:
Rachel studied for her 200-hr YTT with My Vinyasa Practice. 2021-2023 - Rachel worked at Corepower Yoga in Boston: teaching at their Charlestown and Medford studios. She is certified to teach 2 of the Corepower formats: C2, and HPF (hot power fusion).

In 2023 Rachel joined Yoga Sakti in Salem, and Soul City Yoga in Lynn in 2024. As of 2025, she teaches in-person classes at the Point Barre & Yoga in Revere and East Boston, and virtual classes for Health Goth Yoga.

Rachel has been facilitating yoga cannabis workshops since 2021, virtually and in person. With and without sponsors! She always donates a portion of, or the total of the lifted class proceeds to a cannabis-related social justice non-profit.

Rachel’s designation as of Jan 2026 with the Yoga Alliance is an Experienced (E-RYT) 200 HR Yoga Teacher and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider® (YACEP®).
