VERMONT YOGA RETREAT
MAY 15th - 18th 2026
Retreat spaces are limited.
Imagine : Springtime in the Green Mountains
You wake to sunlight spilling into the kitchen and start your day with tea before heading to the barn for morning vinyasa. The air is alive with the scent of budding flowers and earth, the sound of birdsong, and the gentle hum of the wind.
No emails. No calls. No to-do lists. Just time on your mat, in nature, surrounded by community.
Afternoons are for exploration: an asana lab, a mindful workshop, or quiet moments to write, dream, or connect. Meals are fresh, nourishing, and crafted to feed both body and spirit.
Evenings close with restorative yoga and guided meditation with sensory and physical assists, followed by laughter and a farm-to-table dinner among new friends. You end the night journaling in bed, body relaxed, mind at ease, drifting into peaceful sleep.
NOW LIVE IT: Join me in Vermont for a transformative weekend!
The fundamental point of this retreat is not to chase self help - it’s time designed to help you step away and remember who you are.
I myself have been on several yoga retreats over the years and am always profoundly touched by the experience. I realized a common thread that made the retreats so special: when outside noise would finally drop, I could start to hear myself.
When we retreat, we focus inward and the voice inside of the heart which was once silenced remembers how to roar.
Through stepping away and using tools in the yoga sutras and the science of wellness to help reset.
I am taking all of the lessons I’ve learned from this healing, ancient practice of yoga and divine rest and offering them now to you.

Tera Yoga - Founder
Nikki McMaster-Martorano (she/her) is a Trauma Informed E-RYT, Reiki Master and educator. When she is not teaching yoga in the city, she is a Yoga and Social Emotional Learning Specialist in an elementary school in Boston, who strives to make whole body wellness accessible to all. Nikki became curious about yoga when her career in education began and was amazed by the impact the practice had on her and her elementary school students.
Nikki was trained in Ashtanga-based Vinyasa with Renee LeBlanc, Trauma-Informed Yoga with Sophie Lyons, and Embodied Yoga for Social Justice and Leadership with Susanna Barkataki. She received training in decolonized sacred energy and Usui Reiki from Zel Amanzi, and completed her Advanced and Master Reiki training with Danielle of Reiki Boston. Inspired by the kids to learn more about the practice, Nikki enrolled in YTT in the summer of 2018. Since then, she has been teaching yoga with an authentic, inclusive and anti-racist lens in and around Boston, always teaching what she’s practicing- with an emphasis on being a lifelong learner and practitioner on and off the yoga mat.
Her goal as a yoga teacher is to cultivate and offer an environment where students feel safe to develop a sense of agency over their practice, while honoring the roots and deep, ancient wisdom that this practice has to offer. Expect to move mindfully, explore yoga beyond asana (yoga poses) and develop a deeper connection between your mind, body and breath.
